Weirs Concrete Pool

A weir for a concrete swimming pool is basically the barrier in a skimmer over which the water flows. It is designed with a vacuum lid, a weir collar and a basket. A floating weir will raise and lower its level to match the water level in a pool or spa. It can also serve as a suction point and a connection point for automatic pool cleaners (APCs). Because of this, they are known as the pool’s “first line of defense” against debris.
